AWT is a multi-disciplined environmental services company specialized in providing turn-key design and construction services in water and wastewater treatment for industries and municipalities.

We provide complete, single source services ranging from engineering and design to construction and installation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

AWT's range of service includes all phases of project development from planning, feasibility studies, engineering design, equipment/systems supply, and construction/installation to startup and operations.

FINANCING: AWT also provides avenues for low interest, long term financing for large and small projects for municipalities and developers.

Brian LaPointe Ph.D.
Chief Science Officer

Dr. LaPointe is an expert in the field of water quality; recognized for discovering linkage between coastal water quality and poorly treated wastewater. He brings to AWT a 30 year legacy of scientific based environmental advocacy.

Dr. LaPointe has been affiliated with the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute since 1983. During this time he established the definitive benchmarks for nutrient tolerances in coastal waters. These benchmarks now serve as standards for emerging global legislation.

Dr. LaPointe is retained by government agencies, developers, and community groups to assist in achieving compliance with environmental regulations.

Shiv Shahi, P.E., C.G.C.
Director of Engineering

Mr. Shiv Shahi has 13 years of experince in both the public and private sector. His experience includes environmental, water, wastewater, and civil engineering.

During his tenure with the Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Mr. Shahi was responsible for reviewing permit applications for wastewater treatment. He concurrently implemented the EPA's National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).

Mr. Shahi then joined the UEM Group, an internationally renowned, engineering and construction company. Mr. Shahi's team designed and built over 300 projects in 36 countries. Mr. Shahi is a Certified General Contractor, certified in Florida and Virginia.

Scott L. Lamberson
Operations

For the past 30 years, Mr. Lamberson has overseen the construction of millions of square feet of commercial property including the Gardens Mall (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), The Breakers Hotel (Palm Beach, FL), and the Ritz Carlton Golf Club and Spa in Jupiter, Florida. Outstanding construction firms such as Kajima International, The Weitz Company, and Catalfumo Construction have relied on Mr. Lamberson's vast experience in all areas of construction management. His expertise runs the gamut from Preconstruction to Closeout enhances AWT's ability to best serve our Design/Build clients.

Marc A. Spungin
Managing Member

Mr. Spungin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees from both the Wharton School of Business and the Moore School of Electrical Engineering.

Mr. Spungin has experience managing assets for organizations having assets in excess of $1 billion. Both his strategic planning and analytical skills benefit AWT and its customer base.
